Basic operating instructions for the step down:

  • Ensure the transformer input cord is unplugged.
  • Remove the voltage selection switch cover.
  • Set the input voltage selection switch to match the utility voltage of 208 or 240 VAC.
  • If using 240 V utility power, program the UPS output for 240V (the voltage output of the UPS, has to match the voltage input of the step down, 240V, 240V)
  • Reinstall the voltage selection switch cover.
  • Connect the applicable load equipment to the PDU receptacles on the transformer.
  • Plug the transformer input cord into the appropriate PDU receptacle on the rear of the UPS.
  • Ensure the output circuit breakers are turned ON.
  • Ensure the input circuit breaker is turned ON.
