Free Battery, UPS, and Electronics Recycling
We offer a free battery, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), and electronics recycling (e-waste) service. When your UPS or UPS battery comes to the end of its life, please drop it off and we will recycle it for you for free.
With your help, we can reduce landfill waste, recycle components properly, and keep hazardous materials out of our land and water. All electronics should be recycled, because they may contain hazardous materials when broken down in a landfill, and also because some of the materials used in electronics can actually be reused to manufacture new electronics.
Please drop off your e-waste at ExcessUPS - 149 Limestone Crescent, Toronto, Ontario, M3J 2R1. We accept all brands of UPS systems and batteries: Tripp Lite, APC, Belkin, Powerware, CyberPower, Liebert, and many more. Please contact us with any questions.
In addition to UPSs and UPS batteries, we will gladly accept the following e-waste: computers, camcorders, CD/DVD/Blu-ray players, phones, cameras, modems, laptops, GPS devices, MP3 players, shredders, tablets, and more.
We cannot accept: Alkaline batteries, non-rechargeable lithium batteries, appliances, floor model printers and copiers, kitchen electronics, lamps or bulbs, large servers, large speakers or speaker systems, smoke detectors and televisions.
The ExcessUPS UPS system and UPS battery recycling program is completely free of charge.
